Terms of Service

​1. Agreement
By contracting services with HC Power Wash LLC you are agreeing to allow HC Power Wash LLC on the property for cleaning purposes to be completed at an agreed upon price. In the event that you break this contract, all deposits made to the company shall be surrendered as damages. Client understands that there is no set timeframe for the completion of services and several visits to the property may be required. HC Power Wash LLC also has the permission to visit the property with little or no notice to assess service needs prior to the date of service, as well as to check completion after services have been rendered.
2. Product Warranties
All warranties are limited to those offered by the manufactures of the products used by HC Power Wash LLC. HC Power Wash LLC makes no additional warranties. If you ever have a concern or concerns regarding our work, HC Power Wash LLC should be notified immediately.
3. Water Usage
Client agrees to provide HC Power Wash the right to use an on-site water supply as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If on well water, or if in an area with low water pressure or volume, client agrees to cease all water consumption inside the home to include faucets, dishwashers, washing machines, outdoor sprinkler systems etc. If an exterior water supply is required it will be at an additional charge. It is the Customer’s responsibility to make sure the water supply is on and working before we arrive. Additional charges will be applied if water is not available.
4. Electrical Usage
Client agrees to provide HC Power Wash LLC the right to use an on-site source of electricity as needed to complete the stated project without compensation. If an exterior source is required it will be at an additional charge.
5. Color and Tone
When cleaning wood, properties and species of wood, age and weather can greatly affect the resulting color or tone of the wood. Note: Variances may occur on individual boards as well as total project densities and other characteristics vary across and throughout wood. HC Power Wash LLC and all of its associates attempt to represent final finish color and tones as best as possible. While we can often give you an idea of the overall color or tone you must expect some variance in the overall finish.
6. Courtesy
While HC Power Wash LLC is on location on your property, you are responsible for keeping all children and pets, as well as other individuals away from the work area. Children and pets must be kept off work surface for at least 24 hours after our work is complete. This is for your safety as well as our own.
7. Payments
Payments to HC Power Wash LLC are due as per the contract schedule and are to be paid by check, money order, credit or debit card, or cash. All balances are ALWAYS due upon completion of the job. Any variance to this policy must be agreed upon and in writing on our contract. Late charges will be immediately assessed on all balances not paid in accordance with contract terms. The customer agrees to pay any collection cost incurred by HC Power Wash LLC related to the collection process of outstanding balances. There is a $50.00 Processing fee for any returned checks.
8. Scheduling
Scheduling, in a business in which productivity relies upon the weather, can be difficult. Inclement weather may affect scheduling. We try our best to keep scheduling conflicts to a minimum, however circumstances that are beyond our control may affect your project start and completion dates. You will be notified of any changes.
9. Removal & Replacement of Deck Contents
Removal and replacement of grills, deck furniture, planters, etc. is the responsibilities of the homeowner. Should we need to remove items from the work area, we will not be responsible for breakage or for storage issues when it comes to these items.
10. Damages
HC Power Wash LLC is not responsible for damages due to improperly installed siding, loose shingles, or siding, broken or open windows, improperly sealed windows, wood rot, defective construction, improperly secured wires, loose or improperly installed gutters and leaders, and improper caulking. In every aluminum siding case, and in some cases in vinyl siding, the sun and weather will bleach the color and cause it to fade. Pressure washing and soft washing, which entails removal of chalky, gritty or failing surface materials, may cause the faded aspects of the vinyl or aluminum to stand out. HC Power Wash LLC will not be responsible for such conditions. HC Power Wash will not be responsible for loose mortar that may dislodge during the cleaning process. HC Power Wash LLC will not be responsible for water intrusion. While every effort is made to prevent this from happening, bad seals around windows and doors and cracks in concrete foundations can make this unavoidable. HC Power Wash LLC is not responsible for the rare “fogging” effect that happens to multi pane windows with bad seals. Client should notify HC Power Wash LLC if there are any surfaces on or near the home that cannot have any form of detergent on them. If HC Power Wash LLC is not notified of this, HC Power Wash LLC is not responsible for any ill effects to any surfaces regarding this matter.
11. Stains
This agreement to provide services is in no way a guarantee that stains will be removed completely. Some stains cannot be removed by pressure washing, power washing or soft washing. Tree sap, artillery fungus, splatters from stain and paint are examples of materials that cannot be removed by conventional means. We make every attempt to point out these areas to the customers when quoting the project. Sometimes, these stains cannot be removed at all. HC Power Wash LLC does strive for a 100% customer satisfaction, and will work with homeowners and business owners when this does not occur.
12. Condition of Property
HC Power Wash expects your property to be in good repair and weather tight. This includes, but is not limited to all electrical service including receptacles and light fixtures. Doors and windows shall also be weather tight. HC Power Wash is not responsible for damages as a result of water infiltration from poor or improper installation, maintenance or repair of electrical related items or doors or windows. HC Power Wash LLC cannot guarantee removal of artillery fungus from exterior house surfaces.
13. Window Cleaning
Windows may become water spotted as a result of our services. Window cleaning is NOT included with a house wash unless you choose to pay for our exterior window cleaning service.
​14. Client’s Responsibility on Day of Service
Client should make sure to have on-site water supply activated and accessible​ and have all windows & doors shut tightly. Client should also make sure to have all pets and children inside or away from the areas being cleaned. Client should also clear the work areas of all items and remove all flags, doormats, vehicles, or sensitive materials from the areas being washed.
15. Media Release
Client agrees to allow HC Power Wash LLC to utilize any photos, descriptions, reviews, quotes, or videos of the property and/or the client in the context of marketing or advertising for HC Power Wash LLC. HC Power Wash LLC will use these items described in this section without any compensation to the client. Client agrees not to seek punitive action in a civil court of law regarding the development, display, reproduction, or printing of the above examples of media. This does include the use of photos,
addresses, testimonials and videos posted or displayed on online venues such as social media and or other websites associated with HC Power Wash LLC. The client also agrees to allow HC Power Wash LLC to display a marketing sign on their property for no more than one week (seven calendar days) after the work has be completed.
